Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows.
After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.
I was super excited to read this book. This is the second John Green book I've read. The first being The Fault in Our Stars which I loved! I read Paper Towns in a little over 5 hours. It had me hooked from the beginning.
Things I didn't like:
I will be okay if I never have to hear the name Margo Roth Spiegelman again. It was repeated soo much!
The ending. It was anticlimactic. I'm all for drama and suspense. and I thought I knew what Q was going to find after chasing Margo down. But I was really disappointed.
I didn't really like him rereading the poem so much. I mean really? Come on! If you didn't get it the 80th time why keep reading it?
Things I liked:
I loved the first 80-100 pages when Q & Margo go around doing pranks and trying to right some wrongs. It was fun, suspenseful and it showed the readers just how much Q loved Margo.
I'm debating whether to read more of his books. I want to. I'm the kind of person who likes to have books by the same author. So since I have two of John Green's books I want the other ones.
